9S12DG128B和9S12DG128之间有什么区别

开始于 xjmikab 2006年2月20日
I was going to order some MC9S12DG128BCPV they where
"生命的尽头",
the one they had was MC9S12DG128CPVE. I think E stands for leed free
but I don't know. On freescales page it says

Note: The MC9S12DG128B is no longer recommended for new designs.
Customers should order the MC9S12DG128 instead. This device features
performance improvements while retaining compatibility with the older
version.

So whats the difference between the B-version and the version without B?

Best Regards Peter

Peter,

The MC9S12DG128B part number is used for old silicon mask-sets 0L85D and
1L85D. These older mask-sets had (relatively) many initial silicon bugs,
which you can review in the relevant errata for these specific mask-sets on
the appropriate Freescale device web-page.

The MC9S12DG128 part number - with no B, is used for newer mask-sets that
fixed many of the initial-silicon bugs. These include for example mask-sets
0L40K - 4L40K and 3L58S. You can view the relevant errata for these
specific mask-sets on the Freescale web-site too.

Other than these mask-set bug fixes, there are only minor differences in
the behavior of the older MC9S12DG128B and newer MC9S12DG128, so newer is
overall better. For this reason, we've been recommending the the use of
newer mask-sets to our emulator customers for the past 2-3 years.

Hope this helps,
Doron
